Directions to Glan Alaw from the East:

Exit the A55 at Junction 5, signposted Rhosneigr/Aberffraw/Bryngwyran. Turn right at roundabout at top of slip road, towards Llanerchymedd.  At the next roundabout go straight ahead.  At the next crossroads go straight ahead, signposted Llanerchymedd B5112.  Follow for 2.1 miles to the village of Trefor.  Turn left at a staggered crossroads onto the B5109, then after about 500yds turn right towards Llantrisant/Llanddeusant/Llyn Alaw.  Follow for 1.7 miles to a T junction then, turn right to Llanddeusant. After 0.7 miles DO NOT turn right toward Llyn Alaw, but keep straight on. After 0.4miles take the right fork towards Elim. Pass an "Elim" sign, cross a narrow bridge, travel uphill through village until see white/cream painted chapel on the right on a sharp RH bend.  After 300yds turn right opposite a small pumping station on the left which has a "Glan Alaw" sign.  Our lane has a sign with footpath symbol and is 2 strips of concrete with grass in middle, 3/4 mile long.  Drivers of sports cars with low ground clearance will need to take care as there is a cattle grid and part of the lane is unsurfaced with some potholes.

Directions to Glan Alaw from Holyhead Port:

Exit Holyhead Port and drive straight on (past Lidl's) following the signs for local traffic only (there is no need to turn right onto the A55).  Follow this road (A5 London Road) for about 3.5 miles to a crossroads with traffic lights in the town of Valley.  Turn left (signposted Amlwch A5025) and follow for about 3 miles to the village of Llanfachraeth.  Turn right at the Post Office/Premier Store (brown signpost for Melin llynnon Mill) and follow road for about 1 mile, then turn left at a T junction next to Ty'n y Maen chapel.  Carry on for about 1.5 miles to the village of Llanddeusant, drive straight through. About 500 yds after passing the speed limit derestriction signs, turn right at the chapel and then pass a small housing estate on left.  After about 200yds pass an "Elim" sign, then take the next turn left opposite a small pumping station on the right which has a "Glan Alaw" sign.  Our lane has a sign with footpath symbol and is 2 strips of concrete with grass in middle, 3/4 mile long.  Drivers of sports cars with low ground clearance will need to take care as there is a cattle grid and part of the lane is unsurfaced with some potholes.
